Lollipopped in Daylight

Lollipopped in Daylight

Star Pahl is a fourth-generation Jehovah's Witness and survivor of child exploitation within the organization.  At just six years old, she endured unimaginable trauma when she was abducted, drugged, sexually assaulted, and filmed.  After these atrocities, Star's kidnapper told her the abuse was her fault because Jehovah was disappointed in her.

After years of battling daily trauma, Star endured a life-altering stroke in 2015 at age 38.  She was left paralyzed and speechless, but in that vulnerable moment, she vowed to reclaim her voice and reveal her long-burdening secret.  After reporting to law enforcement in 2018—only to face further despair when her case was lost—she channeled her pain into the powerful play "Lollipopped in Daylight," giving a voice to her inner child and countless silenced survivors.  Now, join the movement of freedom in truth and education by supporting the transformation of this play into an activist film that exposes hidden abuses, empowers victims, and drives change.  Your donation can amplify these stories and protect vulnerable children in the future.
